Our one-to-one school in central London provides part-time and full-time education for students in transition. It offers an ideal solution for families arriving mid-year, facing academic disruption, or needing a tailored landing place while longer-term plans are put in place.
Plenty of families abroad want British teaching without sending their child back to the UK. Our London tutors teach online in your time zone, keeping children on a British programme at home or supporting them alongside an international school.
We teach children aged 4 to 18 across all core subjects and a wide range of others, including history, French, computer science and psychology. That covers 7+ and 13+ entrance preparation, GCSE, IGCSE, A-level and the IB.
Families who move often can employ a travelling tutor who lives with the household and teaches daily, so lessons carry on through every relocation. Families who want more structure can use our online and hybrid schooling, with a curriculum agreed between parents and tutors, advice on where to sit exams, and university guidance when the time comes.
The biggest decision for families abroad usually comes around Year 9, when children start choosing between GCSEs and IGCSEs, with the IB Diploma following at sixth form age. Each course runs for two years, so a move in the middle of one needs a plan for teaching, schooling and exams before it happens.
Our IB Diploma tutors support students online with subject tuition, Theory of Knowledge and the Extended Essay. For families not using a school abroad, we also run IB homeschooling.
Most international schools teach IGCSEs rather than GCSEs, and for families staying abroad on a British curriculum, an IGCSE school is usually the sensible choice. If you plan to return to the UK for exams, we can teach the full two-year GCSE course online, with revision planning built in. If the move back happens mid-course, students can sit IGCSEs as external candidates at our registered exam centre in London, even if they studied entirely overseas.
