What it is like to work with us
Tutoring here is about much more than teaching a subject
We take the time to get to know our students properly, their interests, their strengths and the things they find hard, so that the support we give is built around them.
We are looking for people who:
- Are experts in their subject and have a background in teaching or mentoring
- Know how to build genuine, professional relationships with their students
- Can adapt their style to suit different learning profiles and circumstances
- Understand that emotional well-being is often the key to academic success
- Provide the right balance of structure, encouragement, and challenge
- Are thoughtful communicators with families and our core team
- Are reliable professionals who prioritize safeguarding and boundaries
- Have experience (or the desire) to support students with additional needs
- Are happy to support across multiple subjects or levels where it helps the student
We especially value tutors who can stay with a student as they grow. Consistency is important for building trust, and it’s often much better for a student to have one tutor they know well than a different person for every single subject.

Once you apply, our team will review your details alongside the needs of our students.
If it looks like a good fit, we’ll invite you for an interview and help you through the onboarding process. Even if we don’t have an immediate project for you, we’re always looking for great people to join our community for future opportunities.
Completing the application or onboarding process does not guarantee immediate work, as opportunities depend on student requirements, suitability, availability and location.
