About our examinations centre

Lionheart School London is a JCQ and Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) registered examination centre, providing a calm, professional setting for students to sit public examinations with confidence.

We support candidates across GCSEs, IGCSEs, A Levels and international qualifications, including students who are home educated, studying privately, or unable to sit exams in a mainstream school environment.

A space for complete focus

Exams can be sat in our quiet communal exam room or, where appropriate, in individual study rooms. This flexibility allows us to accommodate access arrangements and personal circumstances while maintaining full compliance with examination regulations.

Our experienced examinations team manages every detail — from entries and timetables to invigilation and liaison with exam boards — ensuring a smooth, well-organised experience

"My son sat his GCSEs with Lionheart at only 14 years old. This is a first class facility with lovely and highly capable staff who made my son feel at ease from the moment we started to the very end. I can’t recommend Lionheart highly enough and thanks to you all!"

"Grainne was a great support to my 13 year old daughter, specifically with maths and NVR prep alongside interview practice for 14 plus school entrance exams. We highly recommend her."

Flexible, fully supported provision

We work with:

Homeschooling students

We regularly support home-educated students who require a trusted, professional exam centre. Whether following GCSEs, IGCSEs, A Levels or international qualifications, we provide a calm, familiar environment where students can sit exams confidently, often alongside ongoing tuition or homeschooling programmes.

Private candidates

For candidates entering examinations independently, Lionheart offers a straightforward and supportive exam-entry process. We work with students who are no longer in school, have left education early, or are resitting exams to improve results—ensuring correct registration, compliance with exam board requirements, and a smooth exam experience.

Students transitioning between schools

Many students sit exams with us during periods of transition—between schools, following exclusion, illness, relocation, or while awaiting a new placement. Our exam centre provides continuity at a time when stability matters most, allowing students to progress academically without delay.

Students with SEND or access arrangements

As an experienced centre supporting students with additional needs, we are able to accommodate approved access arrangements, including extra time, rest breaks, separate rooms and other adjustments. Where appropriate, we work alongside families, tutors and professionals to ensure exam provision reflects the student’s needs and agreed support plans.
