Our entry procedure
-
Understanding our students
Every prospective student is met and interviewed alongside their parents.
This allows us to understand the full context — educational history, current challenges, confidence levels, and aspirations — and to assess whether Lionheart is the right environment.
-
Building a complete picture
Assessments are selected thoughtfully and vary from child to child. Many students undertake a WISC IV (junior) assessment to help us understand how they learn, alongside more subtle, low-pressure methods developed over many years.
Our aim is insight, not testing — particularly for students whose confidence may already be fragile.
-
Deciding if Lionheart is the right fit
Admissions decisions are based on whether we believe we can genuinely help the student. Because our focus is on onward placement, entry can take place at any point during the academic year as places become available.
