Oliver Gilsenan

Oliver has spent the past two decades working in education. Oliver joined Lionheart in 2005, initially as a Senior Tutor of Business and Economics before becoming School Director of Lionheart School London (LSL) in 2007. Oliver developed LSL into a unique school that provides a completely bespoke education, taught on a one-to-one basis to a limited number of students, as well as providing academic courses throughout the school holidays to students from all over the UK and abroad.

Oliver took over as Managing Director of Lionheart Education in 2012. In 2020, he was elected to the board of The Tutors’ Association (TTA), the only professional membership body for tutoring and the wider supplementary education sector in the UK. Oliver is passionate about improving provision for young people suffering from mental health disorders and addictions, leading him to co-found Lions Campus in 2021 to complement the services offered by Lionheart.

When he is not busy running the business, Oliver enjoys cooking, countryside pursuits, spending time on the Isle of Wight and chasing after his young children.
